Position Summary

The Director of Software Development is a key leadership role responsible for driving product vision, leading research and development initiatives, and ensuring that software products meet business, customer, security, and operational needs. This role serves as a bridge between business leaders, development teams, IT, customers, pre-sales teams, and SaaS operations, providing both strategic direction and hands-on technical leadership across multiple products.

The position requires strong product ownership, deep software development expertise, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams across business analysis, development, quality assurance, security, and operations. The role also provides architecture leadership for .NET-based products, participates in customer-facing and pre-sales activities, supports RFP responses, and helps guide the ongoing evolution of secure, agile, and efficient development practices.

Responsibilities

Work with business leaders to drive product vision and align product direction with organizational goals, customer needs, and market opportunities.

Define product strategy aligned with business goals, customer needs, and market opportunities.

Lead product R&D, ensuring secure, scalable, and innovative solutions.

Oversee engineering, business analysis, and QA teams, driving best practices and delivery excellence.

Provide technical leadership for .NET/C# products, including architecture guidance and hands-on support when
