Position Summary

:

We are seeking a National Payer Accounts Director to lead strategic engagement with national and regional payer accounts. Reporting to the Executive Director, Payer Access, this individual will help shape commercial payer strategy for Ocular Therapeutix's retina pipeline and marketed ophthalmology portfolio.

The ideal candidate brings deep payer account experience, strong knowledge of medical and pharmacy benefit access, and a practical understanding of coverage, reimbursement, coding, utilization management, specialty pharmacy, and provider-administered product dynamics. This role offers meaningful influence across launch planning, payer engagement, value communication, and patient access strategy.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities include the following

• Develop and execute account strategies for national and regional commercial payers.
• Engage payer stakeholders across medical, pharmacy, policy, reimbursement, and contracting functions.
• Support launch-readiness planning for AXPAXLI/OTX-TKI and access optimization for DEXTENZA.
