Position Summary

:

We are seeking a Government Accounts Director to lead government payer strategy and engagement across public-sector channels. Reporting to the Executive Director, Payer Access, this leader will play a critical role in preparing for retina pipeline access needs while supporting the company's marketed ophthalmology portfolio.

The ideal candidate brings deep government access expertise, strong executive presence, and a practical understanding of Medicare Part B, MAC policy, VA/DoD systems, Medicaid, coding, coverage, and provider-administered product reimbursement. This individual will operate as a strategic partner across functions and a trusted external representative with public-sector payer stakeholders.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities include the following

• Develop and execute government account strategies for AXPAXLI/OTX-TKI, DEXTENZA, and future Ocular assets.
• Engage with MACs, VA, DoD/DHA, Medicaid, and government-affiliated payers to support access, reimbursement, policy, and launch-readiness objectives.
