About the Role

OneStream is seeking an experienced VP, Finance Operations & Commercial Finance to lead finance operations and serve as a strategic partner to the Commercial organization. This executive will drive financial planning, forecasting, performance management, deal economics, and operational efficiency across a global SaaS business.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Finance Operations and Commercial Finance strategy across the organization.
Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Operations, Product, and executive leadership to drive profitable growth.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, and financial performance analysis.
Lead commercial finance activities including pricing, deal economics, revenue forecasting, and investment decisions.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior executives and business leaders.
Develop scalable finance processes, systems, reporting, and performance-management frameworks.
Evaluate business opportunities, resource allocation, and strategic investments.
Improve financial visibility through automation, analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing finance teams.

Qualifications

15+ years of progressive finance experience, with significant experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, or Finance Operations.
15+ years of senior finance leadership experience, preferably within SaaS, enterprise software, or technology companies.
Strong experience with P&L management, forecasting, financial modeling, and commercial decision-making.
Proven experience partnering with Sales, Operations, Product, and executive leadership.
Strong understanding of SaaS metrics, recurring revenue models, pricing, and deal economics.
Experience building scalable finance processes and operating models in a high-growth environment.
Excellent analytical, strategic, communication, and executive leadership skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
