Senior Scientific Director

A BOLDSCIENCE Senior Scientific Director has a proven ability to lead high performing teams and plays a crucial role within the Scientific Services leadership team. They are a scientific expert and have expertise across a wide range of therapeutic areas, but are always eager to build their knowledge and into new unknown areas. They have a proven ability to forge relationships with clients and demonstrate a high-level scientific, editorial and strategic counsel to our clients. A Senior Scientific Director also has a wide range of operational responsibilities including; training and mentoring the team, financial management, recruitment and resourcing.

As well as this they will play an active role developing and leading scientific strategy for new business. They are well known across BOLDSCIENCE and are regularly called upon for their expertise and guidance.

Day to Day Responsibilities

At BOLDSCIENCE no two days are the same and our Senior Scientific Director plays an active role leading the Scientific Services team to success. Some typical activities include:

Client Management skills

* Manages a wide range of complex projects and demonstrates in depth knowledge across a variety of therapeutic areas

* The Scientific Lead on designated account(s), overseeing the delivery of a range of high-quality medical communication materials including; Slide decks, Digital materials, Publications, Abstracts and posters and Meeting summaries

* Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients and relevant medical experts

* Providing high-level scientific, editorial and strategic counsel to clients

* Confidently leads scientific discussions in client meetings and engaging external experts in scientific and medical discussions

* Lead the facilitation of client workshops and though leadership discussions with HCPs

* Communicates and delegates briefs effectively, ensuring that the team deliverables are in line with the
