Duties

• Provide clinical leadership and strategic direction for psychiatric services, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards such as NCQA, HIPAA, and FDA regulations
• Supervise and mentor multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and administrative staff to optimize patient care delivery
• Oversee the development and implementation of clinical protocols, treatment plans, and quality improvement initiatives aligned with healthcare compliance standards
• Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) to ensure accurate documentation of medical records, treatment outcomes, and research data
• Lead efforts in utilization management and ensure compliance with managed care policies while maintaining high standards of patient care
• Promote academic leadership through teaching opportunities, supervising residents or trainees in psychiatry or related fields
• Drive initiatives in healthcare management focused on quality improvement, patient safety, and service excellence

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution with post-residency experience in psychiatry or behavioral health leadership
