COMMERCIAL VEHICLE BUSINESSES Location: Remote | Travel: may exceed 80% | Full-Time, Exempt Base Salary Range:$150,000 – $175,000 DOEAbout the role Inventive Group is hiring a Director of Sales & Strategic Accounts to lead the commercial vehicle side of our business — In The Ditch Towing Products, Idaho Truck Dynamix, and our CV contract manufacturing work. You will own the commercial result, lead a team of three Territory Sales Representatives, and personally hold our most important account relationships. This is a builder’s role in a company that is rebuilding. The commercial infrastructure you would normally inherit does not exist yet — territory structure, account planning discipline, and channel pricing architecture are all being created now, and the person in this seat helps create them alongside the CEO. If you want to run a machine someone else built, this is not the job. If you want to build one, it is a rare opportunity.What you will do* Own revenue and gross margin for the commercial vehicle businesses. * Lead, coach and develop three Territory Sales Representatives; set territory structure, coverage and quota. * Personally own our strategic account relationships and build real account plans behind them — governed terms, defined margin expectations, and measured share. * Strengthen direct relationships with OEM upfitters, body builders and equipment dealers, and grow our position in the specification decision. * Develop brand-focused distribution partnerships built on service commitment and shared market development. * Co-author the company’s channel pricing architecture with the CEO and the incoming leadership team. * Grow aftermarket flow through our dealer network with parts programs and dealer support. * Partner with Engineering and Operations on product and specification positioning.
