Job Description
COMPANY OVERVIEW
The CLIENT is developing autonomous, nuclear-powered data center campuses designed to support the rapidly growing demand for AI infrastructure. Its platform combines advanced nuclear power generation with high-density computing, dry-air cooling, and other infrastructure technologies to create large-scale, off-grid campuses that reduce dependence on traditional power grids and water resources.
The company is building toward a multi-gigawatt infrastructure platform, serving hyperscalers, enterprise customers, and other high-demand compute applications, while pursuing opportunities across power generation, AI infrastructure, data centers, and related industrial technologies.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The CLIENT is seeking an experienced Chief Executive Officer to lead the company through its next phase of growth—from a development-stage platform into a multi-gigawatt infrastructure company and ultimately a publicly listed enterprise.
This is a true CEO role requiring a proven executive who has personally led companies or major business units, managed significant P&L responsibility, raised institutional capital, worked with boards and investors, and operated in highly capital-intensive and regulated environments.
The CEO will be the company's primary executive voice with investors, hyperscalers, strategic partners, regulators, government stakeholders, and the board of directors.
WHAT YOU WILL LEAD
- Set and execute the company's overall corporate strategy across nuclear power, energy, data centers, AI infrastructure, compute, cooling, and related infrastructure platforms.
- Lead the organization through significant growth, capital formation, project development, commercialization, and eventual transition to a public company.
- Build and lead a high-performing executive team, including recruiting, developing, and managing a world-class C-suite.
- Establish relationships with hyperscalers, AI companies, enterprise customers, infrastructure investors, strategic partners, and government stakeholders.
- Secure anchor customers and strategic partnerships necessary to support multi-gigawatt infrastructure development.
- Lead capital formation across equity, project finance, structured debt, strategic investment, and other institutional financing sources.
- Oversee the development and execution of multi-billion-dollar capital projects.
- Lead engagement with federal, state, and local regulatory authorities, including permitting and licensing requirements associated with nuclear power, energy infrastructure, and large-scale data center development.
- Establish strong corporate governance, financial controls, risk management, safety standards, and operational accountability.
- Serve as the company's principal spokesperson with boards, institutional investors, regulators, strategic partners, customers, and the broader infrastructure and technology ecosystem.
- Prepare the organization for the governance, reporting, investor relations, and operational requirements of a publicly traded company.
REQUIRED EXECUTIVE BACKGROUND
This is not a first-time CEO opportunity. Candidates must have substantial senior executive leadership experience and a demonstrated record of leading companies, divisions, or major infrastructure businesses.
Require for the role
- 15+ years of senior executive leadership experience, with demonstrated experience as a CEO, President, COO, or senior business-unit executive with significant P&L responsibility.
- Proven experience leading a company or major operating organization, including strategy, people, financial performance, capital allocation, and execution.
- Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following sectors:
- Nuclear Power / Advanced Nuclear
- Data Centers / Hyperscale Infrastructure
- AI Infrastructure / High-Density Compute
- Power Generation / Energy Infrastructure
- Digital Infrastructure
- Large-Scale Industrial Infrastructure
- Proven experience managing capital-intensive infrastructure projects or businesses.
- Strong understanding of project finance, institutional capital, structured debt, equity financing, or large-scale infrastructure investment.
- Demonstrated ability to work directly with boards, institutional investors, lenders, regulators, government agencies, and strategic partners.
- Experience building and managing senior executive teams in complex, high-growth organizations.
- Strong commercial leadership experience, including the ability to secure major customers, strategic partnerships, and long-term commercial relationships.
- Exceptional communication skills and credibility with sophisticated financial, technical, governmental, and institutional stakeholders.
STRONGLY PREFERRED
- Previous experience taking a company public, leading a publicly traded company, or preparing an organization for an IPO.
- Direct experience with SEC reporting, public-company governance, investor relations, and board management.
- Established relationships with hyperscalers, AI companies, data center operators, infrastructure funds, private equity firms, institutional investors, and strategic energy investors.
- Experience with nuclear licensing, NRC processes, power-generation regulation, or other highly regulated energy infrastructure.
- Experience developing or operating hyperscale data centers or large-scale AI compute infrastructure.
- Experience overseeing multi-billion-dollar capital programs or multi-gigawatt energy/infrastructure portfolios.
- Experience working with federal, state, and local governments on complex infrastructure development.
The successful CEO will be
- A proven company-level executive, not simply a functional leader.
- Comfortable operating at the intersection of energy, technology, infrastructure, finance, and government.
- Highly credible with institutional investors, boards, hyperscalers, regulators, and strategic partners.
- Comfortable making decisions in a high-growth, high-stakes, technically complex environment.
- A strong capital allocator with the ability to connect financing strategy with operational execution.
- Capable of recruiting and leading an exceptional executive team.
- Commercially aggressive while maintaining strong standards for safety, governance, compliance, and integrity.
- Comfortable representing the company publicly and serving as its primary external voice.
The CEO will be expected to
- Establish and execute the company's long-term corporate strategy.
- Build the executive organization required to scale a multi-gigawatt infrastructure platform.
- Secure major hyperscaler, enterprise, government, and strategic partnerships.
- Establish a credible and scalable capital formation strategy.
- Advance the company's nuclear, power, data center, and AI infrastructure development pipeline.
- Build the governance and reporting infrastructure required for a public company.
- Position the company for a successful IPO and long-term public-market growth.
- Create an execution-focused culture capable of delivering complex infrastructure projects at scale.
Pay: $400,000.00 - $600,000.00 per year
