Job Summary
The Board President serves as the chief volunteer leader of the organization, guiding strategic direction, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring the organization’s mission is fulfilled effectively and sustainably. This dynamic role requires a passionate leader with a proven track record in nonprofit management, strategic planning, and executive leadership. The Board President will work closely with board members, staff, and community partners to advance the organization’s goals while promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans that align with the organization’s mission and vision.
- Facilitate effective governance by collaborating with board members to establish policies, oversee organizational performance, and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including donors, community partners, government agencies, and volunteers to support fundraising efforts and organizational growth.
- Oversee financial management activities, including budgeting, financial planning, and ensuring sound fiscal practices in line with nonprofit financial management standards.
- Promote operational excellence by supervising senior leadership teams and supporting effective management of programs, services, and business development initiatives.
- Lead fundraising efforts for business development and organizational sustainability through strategic partnerships and donor engagement.
- Represent the organization publicly at events, conferences, and community meetings to enhance visibility and advocate for its mission.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in corporate strategy, nonprofit management, or business development with a focus on strategic management.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in executive-level team management and supervision of staff or volunteers.
- Strong financial acumen including nonprofit financial management experience and executive-level budget oversight.
- Background in marketing, fundraising, or business development to support organizational growth initiatives.
- Excellent collaboration skills with board members, senior leaders, and external partners to foster teamwork and shared vision.
- Experience in operations management and overseeing complex projects or programs within a nonprofit or business environment.
- A track record of entrepreneurial thinking combined with strategic planning capabilities to drive innovation and operational success.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $184,400.00 per year
