Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive investment strategies aligned with company goals, focusing on commercial lending, mortgages, and financial services.
  • Oversee loan origination processes, including loan processing, underwriting, risk assessment, and compliance with TILA (Truth in Lending Act) regulations.
  • Lead a team of loan officers and asset managers to ensure efficient loan servicing, client communication, and customer service excellence.
  • Analyze Excel data for lending trends, risk management insights, and financial performance metrics to inform strategic decisions.
  • Maintain industry knowledge of financial regulations such as FNMA (Fannie Mae), banking compliance standards, and mortgage industry best practices.
  • Manage relationships with clients, lenders, and regulatory agencies to ensure contractual compliance and foster business growth.
  • Monitor industry developments related to commercial banking expertise, lending practices, and financial software tools to stay ahead of market trends.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in loan origination, commercial lending analysis in risk and credit assessment, or mortgage services within a banking or financial services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations including TILA, FNMA guidelines, banking regulatory compliance, and industry standards for lending.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing teams involved in loan processing, customer service, and financial sales.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite—especially Excel for data analysis—and familiarity with financial software platforms used in banking operations.
  • Excellent client communication skills coupled with the ability to explain complex contracts and legal requirements clearly.
  • Basic math skills including 10-key typing proficiency necessary for accurate data entry and calculations.
  • Industry knowledge of financial compliance standards combined with commercial lending expertise in risk management.
