Crypto.com is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our compliance team as the Vice president of Sanctions and Financial Crime Intelligence. This critical leadership role is designed to oversee sanctions controls for the Northamerican entities and spearhead the modernization and scalability of our compliance program through advanced automation, while providing robust oversight over financial crimes risks. About the Role

This role reports directly to the Head of Financial Crimes. In this role, you will drive operational effectiveness and efficacy, oversee sanctions controls and focus on identifying, analyzing, and mitigating external threats to the platform. You will serve as a frontline defender—collaborating closely with law enforcement, industry peers, and intelligence networks to protect the business and its users.

• Automation & Operational Scaling: Champion and spearhead the strategic design, implementation, and optimization of automation, machine learning, and workflow technologies across all core compliance processes to drive operational efficiency and scalability.
• Sanctions Controls and Reporting: Oversee the implementation, tuning, and ongoing maintenance of on-chain sanction controls. Manage all sanctions blocked-property processes, ensuring rigorous compliance with OFAC regulations and timely submission of Blocked Property Reports (BPRs).
