About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead sales execution, develop team capability and improve the consistency of business results.
You will translate leadership priorities into practical sales plans, coach producers and team leaders, and coordinate the support needed to build sustainable growth. Success includes production, client-service quality and the development of a capable team.
Responsibilities
- Develop sales plans and goals with leadership for the assigned team or territory.
- Lead pipeline reviews, forecasting and performance discussions.
- Coach producers and managers on prospecting, discovery, presentations and follow-up.
- Establish consistent sales processes and CRM reporting practices.
- Support the recruitment and onboarding of experienced producers and team leaders.
- Identify conversion barriers, skill gaps and operational obstacles.
- Coordinate with marketing, contracting, case design and application-processing teams.
- Monitor production, retention, persistency and client-service quality.
- Report progress and recommend practical corrective actions.
- Support approved oversight processes and escalate compliance concerns.
Requirements
- Active California insurance license with appropriate authority.
- Five or more years of insurance or financial-services sales experience preferred.
- At least two years of sales leadership or team-management experience preferred.
- Demonstrated success coaching teams toward measurable business goals.
- Strong forecasting, CRM reporting, communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead a remote team and provide consistent accountability.
- Experience with multiple-provider distribution preferred.
- Participation in required online leadership meetings and training.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year
