The Opportunity

• Manage staff engineers owning hiring, performance, growth, retention, leave cover, and the day to day technical direction of their work.
• Hold the technical bar across the applications the staff engineers support, and arbitrate architecture disagreements between senior technical staff.
• Manage the offshore relationship through the Offshore Engineering Manager, which covers the AVPL India delivery team, its vendor relationship, and vendor performance quality.
• Lead a blended onshore and offshore organization as a single engineering capability.
• Design and develop the platform engineer team.
• Manage platform engineers owning hiring, performance, growth, retention, leave cover, and the day to day technical direction of their work.
