The Risk Control Consulting Director-Healthcare serves as an enterprise leader responsible for advancing risk control strategy, technical excellence and underwriting support across Allied Healthcare and Life Science business segments. This individual contributor is responsible for the assessment, evaluation, and delivery of complex risk control consulting services addressing the most challenging clinical, operational, regulatory, professional liability, and product liability exposures. This role will also provide a centralized source of expertise for Life Sciences, particularly in the area of product liability involving pharmaceutical manufacturers, biotechnology firms, medical device companies, and other life sciences organizations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Performs a combination of duties in accordance with departmental guidelines

Performs onsite or virtual risk evaluation and consultative risk improvement services on the most complex and/or sophisticated accounts.

Controls loss exposure and costs and ensures underwriting profit through risk determination for underwriting.

Assesses customer's program needs and develops and executes a customized strategy and supporting implementation plan. Manages the delivery of direct evaluative and consultative services.

Partners with underwriting and other areas to provide information for risk evaluation and assessment on the most complex and/or sophisticated risks.

Participates with senior management in the development and implementation of risk control policy, marketing and business strategy.
