North Dakota Fractional Clinical Director (Remote)

Kaizen Health is a national behavioral health group expanding into Virtual Intensive Outpatient. We're hiring a fractional Clinical Director: a licensed clinician who serves as the named clinical lead for our state program.

This role is deliberately small. It is designed for a clinician with a full practice or full-time position who wants a paid program-leadership appointment without adding a caseload, admin work, or meaningful hours. Total commitment is approximately 4 hours per month.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the named Clinical Director on our North Dakota program licensure
• One monthly virtual clinical oversight meeting with the program team (1 hr, scheduled around you)
• Review and sign off on clinical policies and program curriculum updates (quarterly, ~1 hr)
• Review a small monthly chart-audit sample using our structured tool (~1 hr)
• Serve as clinical escalation contact for North Dakota (by phone, rare; not a crisis line)

What this role does NOT include

• No caseload, no direct patient care, no billing
• No credentialing, admin, or utilization review — our operations team handles everything
• No non-compete — keep your current practice or position

Requirements

• Active, unencumbered state license: LCSW, LMFT or LCSW
• Supervisory experience/certification in behavioral health or SUD treatment
• No board disciplinary actions (verified)
• Comfortable with telehealth and remote oversight

Compensation & terms

• $1,000/month flat stipend ($12,000/year), paid monthly
• Professional liability coverage provided for all duties under this role
• 12-month term, 60-day mutual out
• Independent contractor (1099)
