Location

This is a remote position. While qualified candidates from any location will be considered, preference will be given to candidates who reside within approximately a two-hour drive of New Braunfels, Texas, to support periodic in-person meetings and business needs.

About the Role

The Executive Director of Safety & Compliance is responsible for establishing, enforcing, and continuously improving the organization’s safety, regulatory compliance, and risk management systems. This role provides enterprise-level oversight of all safety initiatives and ensures operations comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, and internal standards.

The position serves as the central authority for safety performance, compliance assurance, and incident prevention, with direct influence over operational decision-making, field execution standards, and leadership accountability.

Key Responsibilities

Safety Strategy & Governance

• Develop and implement an enterprise-wide safety strategy aligned with operational objectives.
• Establish standardized safety policies, procedures, and controls across all business units.
• Define and enforce safety performance metrics (e.g., TRIR, LTIR, near-miss reporting rates).
• Serve as the escalation authority for high-risk operations and stop-work decisions.
