Role & Summary of Responsibilities

Lead the teams that help patients navigate insurance, authorization, and the financial side of care.

We are looking for a healthcare operations leader who understands that great Patient Financial Services is about much more than processing transactions.

It is about helping patients navigate some of the most complicated parts of healthcare while building an operation that is accurate, efficient, scalable, and easy for employees to execute.

As our Director, Patient Financial Services & Clearance, you will lead four critical functions: Prior Authorization, Insurance & Benefits Verification, and Patient Financial Services.

This is a highly visible leadership role reporting directly to the COO. We are not looking for someone who simply manages queues, reviews productivity reports, and keeps the operation running exactly as it does today. We want a builder, problem solver, people leader, and operator.

You should be comfortable looking at a backlog and figuring out why it exists. You should want to understand why a patient keeps calling about a statement. You should notice when employees are performing unnecessary manual work and ask whether technology can eliminate it.
