About the role

We're hiring a Director of Engineering to lead the Engineering organization. This role reports directly to the CTO and is the single engineering leader across two teams currently totaling 8 engineers, with a plan towards ~12. This is not a manager-of-managers role today, you'll be directly managing the team. The ideal candidate is someone excited to directly lead a team of high performing Senior+ Engineers. Beyond the people management side, you'll own the full scope of execution: process, feature delivery, quality, while maintaining a highly engaged group of people.

Prismatic is built primarily in TypeScript (both frontend and backend), with some Python and Django on the backend and React on the frontend. We build a sophisticated low-code integration builder, an SDK and tools for building integrations fully in TypeScript, and features powering our customers' AI agent functionality. All of this on top of a high-scale, performance critical platform. While this is not a hands-on building role, being confident in the technology, and the challenges of a scaling a developer facing SaaS platform will be crucial to high quality decision making.
