Job Description
- Develop and maintain project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar scheduling software
- Sequence tasks and allocate resources, identifying dependencies, durations, and critical path elements to create realistic timelines
- Monitor progress against the schedule, updating it based on field data, change orders, or unforeseen delays
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather schedule inputs and ensure alignment with project objectives
- Identify and manage risks, including potential delays, resource shortages, or weather impacts, and develop contingency plans
- Generate and distribute schedule reports to internal and external stakeholders, including progress updates, variance analysis, and mitigation strategies
- Support claims analysis and recovery planning when delays occur, ensuring compliance with contractual scheduling requirements
- Collaborate with procurement and staffing teams to ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and labor.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in scheduling software (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, etc.)
- Understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) and Earned Value Management.
