Equitysmith is a specialized asset advisory and capital markets platform pioneering institutional real-world asset (RWA) tokenization across Latin America. We build civil law-native corporate and fiduciary architectures that bridge high-yield commercial real estate, private credit, agribusiness, and infrastructure assets directly with global liquidity.

As we execute our multi-jurisdiction expansion across Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Chile, Peru, and Uruguay, we are seeking a seasoned, entrepreneurial Chief Financial Officer (CFO) & Head of Capital Sourcing to lead our corporate capitalization, institutional treasury, and cross-border financial governance.

Role Overview

This role carries a dual mandate: securing operating capital to scale Equitysmith’s corporate footprint and structuring the sovereign, civil law-compliant financial entities required for institutional RWA origination in each target market.

You will lead direct capital-raising efforts across venture capital, private equity, family offices, and strategic banking partners, while designing robust cross-border treasury, tax, and capital allocation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

1. Corporate Capital Sourcing & Fundraising

  • Lead and execute corporate equity and debt financing rounds to fund platform operations, regional licensing, and multi-country hiring.
  • Leverage existing networks across global and regional venture funds, institutional private credit allocators, family offices, and fintech investors.
  • Manage the end-to-end fundraising life cycle: financial modeling, investor pitch decks, data room oversight, due diligence, and term sheet negotiations.

2. Sovereign & Civil Law Entity Structuring

  • Lead the financial, tax, and treasury architecture for establishing local operating subsidiaries (*Sociedades Anónimas*, fiduciary vehicles, and securitization SPVs) across Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Peru, and Uruguay.
